I posted around this time last year before I started my pre-reqs adventures and have gotten very good tips! So I am reaching out to you guys seeking for some advice again.
Here is a little bit of background info.
Education: I graduated with an engineering degree from a military school (not sure if med schools will give a crap) with a 3.37 GPA. I started taking pre-reqs this past year, got a 4.0 in both fall and spring semester, but got a B- this summer in Orgo 1 Lecture. I will be only taking Orgo 2 and Psychology this Fall, Biochem and Sociology in the Spring, then taking my MCAT and sending my applications hella early. So my cGPA is like a 3.42 (crappy I know)
Medical Experiences: I am still volunteering at the ED with 130+ hours logged, 30+ shadowing hours logged but have more lined up before the summer ends, and I just got a job as a scribe working 24hrs a week.
Non-Medical: I volunteer here and there at random places, I am also an assistant baseball coach for a kids team. 60+ hours.
Leadership: I went to a military college so I got a chance to be in some leadership positions. I was the secretary for a club last year at my current school.
So with about 9 months left before I apply, what are some things I should be doing or get ready to do?
Thank you for your time in advance
