Hi guys,
I just wrote my pcat yesterday, and I am pleased with the results, considering how horrible I felt while I was writing. I thought I absolutely botched it. Here are my preliminary statistics:
Bio 98%
Chem 98%
Quant 85%
VR 65%
RC 48%
Comp 92%
Obviously the VR and RC scores are terrible, especially RC. English is my second language, but I speak it fluently, in fact it's one of my strong suits. I have no idea how I did so poorly on VR, but for RC, I didn't practice a lot and the test was absolutely boring, I could barely stay awake, so I an definitely understand how I could score so low. Even though my composite is at least decent, the RC and VR kind of worry me. I am in Canada so I'll be applying to all Canadian schools and possibly some American as well.
I'm really not thinking of re-taking the test at all, but will my VR and RC scores significantly hurt my chances of getting into a good school?
Any help is appreciated.
