Manuscript accepted... what to include in update letter?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I would just write the citation with journal name etc. and said date accepted. Do you know what edition of the journal etc it will be in? Then maybe you can put that but I definitely wouldn't put the whole thing as nobody would read it

I found out today that my manuscript was accepted for publication. What information should be included in the update letter that I send to schools? Looking at my manuscript portal, it looks like it has yet to be assigned so I don't have a full citation or DOI number to provide. Should I attach the manuscript itself?
For your citation, include [in press] in the place of the missing information about journal date, issue, page numbers. Do not attach the manuscript.

I'd say just do a partial citation or just say something along the lines of "a manuscript where I was listed as __ author has just been accepted for publication in the Journal of ______".
