They're changing the format of the MCAT :eek: Just wanted to post this for those that are curious...

That's not fair! They're cutting the test time by 2 hours!! I thought a lot of this was all about stamina.....


Well I guess we can always talk about the "old days" where, can you believe it, we had to use #2 pencils and paper!!
 
As long as it's standardized, it should be fine. I don't know how they can do the Physical Sciences section, though. There's a lot of math in that one.
 
kind of sucks that this will be the year i take it. no time to work out the bugs. oh well , i get to play guniea pig :).
 
I could be wrong (i guess I'll know after the fact :oops: ), but I like the idea of the computer based test better. I always finish my computer-based exams faster and score better than the paper ones. I think it's because I have extra time to review my answers.... :confused:

Makes me wish my tests coming this week were computer based and not some stupid scantron and/or paper based essays. :rolleyes:
