Hello all. I really need some advice on whether to void my upcoming MCAT score on June 1st. I have been studying for the last 3 months for my retake. I originally took it back in August 2016 and got a 499 (125/122/124/128). I have taken several practice MCAT tests from Nextstep and the AAMC exams. My scores are
NS 1: 503 (124/124/127/128)
NS 2: 504 (124/127/126/128)
NS 3: 500 (124/123/126/127)
NS 4: 502 (125/125/126/126)

AAMC Sample test: C/P 47%, CARS 75%, B/B 49%, P/S 78%
AAMC 1: 503 (124/125/125/129) (I did take this test one year ago however but did not remember any of it when I took it again)
AAMC 2: 495 (123/121/124/127)
The AAMC 2 I took was 2 days ago and I will admit I did not put 100% effort into it and was not 100% 'on my game when I took it. My target score is anywhere from 503-505. I am applying only to DO schools and I am worried because of this last exam I took. I do not want to get a worse score and jeopardize my chances of an acceptance or retake the exam for a third time. My cgpa is 3.75 and my sgpa is 3.6 and I was a psych major in college (graduated August 2016). I really need advice on whether to void my exam this Thursday or just to go for it and pray for the best. Thanks so much.

I think you can hit your target score if you take the exam with confidence. You should try to relax these next few days. Go over your notes and clear your head with meditation or exercise. When you're taking your test, you might get hit with a really complex passage from the beginning, just take a deep breath and stay cool. It gets easier. Good Luck.

You're at risk of getting around 500 again, unless you have a good day - but what if you don't?
Also keep in mind that some schools average all MCAT attempts, so your goal should really be 508-510.
Sorry, I would void and study another 3 months.
Have you taken all natural sciences prereqs? If not, do that before your scored MCAT attempt.

I have taken all the science prereqs. So by voiding the exam will that mean I cannot apply this cycle to DO schools and have to take another gap year? Do medical schools see if I voided an exam or no?

They do not see voided exams.
DO schools are more lenient than MD in terms of timelines. If you can bring your score up during the next couple months, you may still have a chance for DO this year.
