MCAT Scores Mailed Out?

Hey! It seems all of you folks forked over the 15 bucks to get your scores early! Does anyone know when they are mailing the scores out? I would like my score but don't want to keep giving the AAMC money!

Are there others here that are waiting for their scores and haven't checked them online?

Supposedly they started mailing them on the 10th or so.... good luck waiting. I have a feeling it's going to be a long time before we get the paper reports. They probably think that since everyone can just get them online they don't have to rush to get the paper reports out.

FYI: AAMC is a non-profit organization... I believe that whatever they charge is honestly what they need to do what they do. Think about how much work they have... it can't be that easy to do what they do.

I dunno, if they have the scores, they should just give them to us! I'll bet they take their time on purpose so that they make more money from the online fee!

Oh I don't think they are in any rush to get the scores sent out However, they did say they would start on June 10.

I'm just saying, it is a non-profit organization... and I just hate to think how annoying it was back when there was no AMCAS. Can you imagine filling out 15+ different applicants!? ugh!

Hi All -

I called yesterday, and they said, "Expect them by the 20th."

I also emailed them yesterday (to cover the bases), and they said that the scores were being sent out that day (yesterday), so it may be time to start checking those mailboxes (my mailman LOST my first letter with the PIN code, and the MCAT office won't replace it!)

I'm holding out on checking online too! I can't stand the wait! Especially since I've been reading that all of you have gotten your scores already. If I don't get it in the mail by Saturday, then I'll break down and check...

add me to the list of people waiting for the paper copy. (to make matters worse, I've started my summer job at a summer camp, and have been waiting for my mom to call and tell me they came in the mail!)

Hi all, my friend called the MCAT people today and a guy said they won't be mailing them in another 10 days. If that's so, we won't be getting them til late June or July, which is pretty late considering if any of us need to retake we have to sign up for Aug by the 12th of July.

DoubleL says they are mailed out already and Snowball says they won't even mail them out for over a week. Who is right? If they are all supposed to be in by the 20th, shouldn't they have been mailed out?

The point is, I CAN'T pay my $15 because I don't have the darn PIN code that was in that letter, and AMCAS won't issue me another one.

I gave into the-pressure-....... Haha! Last night I was about to go out of my mind! So I gave in. :wink: (It was all the peer pressure from you guys!) I guess it was one of the best 15 bucks I've ever spent. Painless, but a bit anti-climatic. Well, at least now I can go on my vacation in peace!

Thanks for the sympathy!

I'm not even sure why I keep checking the posts in this forum - it is, in a sense, a form of torture to listen to all of you talk about this or that score, when I have no idea what my scores are...

And to top it off, I'm going out of town all next week, so I'm going to have a neighbor keep an eye on my mail. (He has my instructions to open anything with "MCAT" on the front of it, and to call me immediately).
