July 13th is approaching fast and I've fallen off the cliff as far as prep goes. I'm nowhere near ready to take the exam. Does anyone know if I call AAMC can they extend the reschedule past September? I went to the site and it only allows a reschedule up to the Sept. administration dates. I was thinking of more like March or April (I'm going into Junior year). SOPHS, don't do what I did and assume you'll know everything after taking the pre-reqs. :meanie: I guess if worse comes to worse I can reschedule for September, then reschedule for a later date, and so on, just as long as it doesn't exceed $200, the cost of the exam. If anyone has any insight into this, it'd be greatly appreciated. Enjoy your 4th, and remember, get away from your firework, fast, once lit. 🙄

Reschedule for September, STUDY, and take it in September. No point having this test hang over your head any longer.

You can definately be ready for this in 2 months if you work hard.

I can't take it during the semester (work load, location from school), hence my woe of when am I going to reschedule it. Also, I'll be taking microbio and some biochem over the fall semester that I feel will be beneficial. It was a bad mistake to schedule it, I know that. Now I'm just trying to find a way to rectify it.

Edit: I think I'll end up taking it in Sept, but I most def. will not be taking it next Friday.

Hey I reschedule mine and it costed an extra 50 bucks to do so. So be ready to pay up.

I would definitely reschedule. Since you are not going into your senior year, by taking it in september or even later would put you months earlier than the norm. I would make sure I was comfortable taking the test especially since its your first time. I would much rather spend 2 more months studying and pay $50 to take it once then have to take it again. Oh....I also took Biochem, Physics 2, and Physiology the semester I took the test so you can do it. Good luck studying.
