If I take the MCAT in March, will it be too late to apply even if schools have my app already?

Taking in March means you'll have your scores by April. I would say that is not too late except for the fact that your first score will be averaged with that new score* and even if you get high 20's it will still be a pretty low average. Couple that with the fact that, as mentioned above, there are a lot of MD/DO/Dent rejects applying at that time which will presumably have higher scores. Unless you want to try for NYCPM Jan or really like KSU I would just wait until next cycle. I would rather go to my top choice. Then again, there is nothing wrong with applying and testing the water (If you have a few hundred bucks to burn)
*They may take the fact that your 1st score was unusually low into account and not factor it in. I would not bet on it though. make your decision as though they won't
No i took it already but didnt score high at all and am now taking it again.
Actually im now taking it in jan, what score should i aim for? I have a 3.22 gpa and a 3.0 sgpa.
aim for the best score you can get.
Agreed with the mcat advice, view it as a second job that you have to do baring some really good reason.I
To OP: Just be careful that you don't fall into the same traps that you did last time you took the MCAT. Take practice exams and if the results aren't close to what you're shooting for, reschedule the exam until you are sure your read
Another tip: Make a daily study plan and stick to it. Study 4-5 days a week and try to take at least one practice exam a week if possible. I know some people don't like Kaplan but their prep books were a fantastic resource.
