I think they stretched the truth on "most people getting permits." Remember you're competing for parking with current students in pharmacy, nursing, PA, PT, and optometry (which starts next year). Most residents get parking if they act quickly. It's first come, first serve on parking. You can easily get parking at any of the local garages, but it's more expensive than campus sponsored parking.Ive also been looking into the areas around the city for places to rent... It's hard when you don't know what areas are good or bad! I asked about parking during my interview and they said its not too bad and that most people easily get parking permits.
Hi, guys, i am a P1 at mcphs class of 2014, I was in the same shoes as you guys are last year at the same time, few tips : interview is very easy if you get an interview you are %98 will get in, the courses are medium hard you need to study alot so if you are a party pal not a good idea to attend this school,
Few tips: if you decide to come here, there is a course called US-health care the most difficult and challenging class you will have in your first semister!! I suggest buy the books and start reading it, start read about Medicare and Medical, part ABCD of medicare, as well as how hospitals and doctors manage in the US, in Canada, UK, Germany and Japan, teacher of this class is crazy and very rude she doesnt answer any question and if you ask her question she will get mad or laugh at you or make you the dumbest person in class by her talks so she is not helpful at all.
Tip2:If you haven't take a physiology in your life that would be a good idea to either audit a class or sign up for it in a community college!
The rest of the classes are ok,
You should know that there will be 2 exams in each week, sometimes 3 and some of them in the same day, the semister is 14 weeks and you will take 21 midterms plus 6 finals, over all it is a accelarated program,
The other thing is % 70 of the students have the sample exams from prevous years, teachers do not change their exams so find frinds fast and do not supprise if half of the class get 90+ but you are failing because they have the questions!!
Average of my class for most of the exams was 80+ which I think it is very weird!!
Email me if you have any questions in title right pharmacy school!!
Good luck,
Sorry I type with my iphone in the plane if you see mistakes in my writing😉
Well it is up to you, on campus is very expensive!! Almost $1000 a month,
I prefered off campus and I still made friends!

So just a show of hands lol Who is living on campus and who is living off campus?![]()
off campus too. yes, lets get together prior to classes starting sometime in August.off campus over here. I'm going to move to worcester early August, we should all plan to meet up before school starts to make some friends and to get to know one another. 🙂 I hope someone gets a facebook thing going for C/O of 2015 soon.
LOL OK! will create one then! and about the person talking about bad reputation, remember you can always make a difference. instead of talking about drop out rate you should think about the naplex passing rate. This school prepares you for real life! its the second oldest pharmacy school in the country so if it was that bad, i am sure it would have been gone by now
I emailed my counselor that I met with on my interview and she let me know that they received it. I've read before that they do send emails of confirmation, but I still wanted to know as my 30 day deadline for acceptance was coming up.Please let us all know when you have the FB page up. 🙂 Does anyone know if the school confirms whether or not it has received the deposit? Thanks all
Off campus!! I'm also interested in meeting up with everyone before classes begin! I'm planning on moving sometime during the summer...I'd be happy to help organize a get together 🙂
I got my accepted letter today! Best Xmas present ever! See you guys nxt yr!

I think guitarded2 was right on. If you can't find a pharmacy job, then walk into your local pharmacy's and ask the pharmacy manager if you can volunteer as an intern with no pay. I'm sure they would be happy to have free help for a few weeks or so. Send in your remaining transcripts too and let them know once you start working in the health care field. Good Luck!...I'm sure they will pull you off the wait list and accept you.Hi, I have a question.I had interview on Oct. 28, 1 week after I mailed my application, they sent me the interview letter. But unfortunately they put me in waiting list 🙁.I have no idea why.My interview was not bad but I don't have any experience related to health care or pharmacy. I talked to the assistant director and she said my application is strong and its not easy to put me in waiting list.I was taking Bio II and Micro Bio during the time of my interview.I have 3.71 GPA and BS in chemistry. I recently got my Micro Bio grade and I got A on that.Still waiting for Bio II result and I m expecting at least A- on that.Do you think after I submit those grades, it can let them consider my application? I was told in waiting list letter to submit additional grade, updated resume, etc if it can help them consider my application. I got an email from Brian 2 weeks ago reminding me of sending the same thing they mentioned in waiting list letter. And for experience regarding healthcare, I am trying to get in to the pharmacy store but no one has opening till now.I am really feeling so frustrated. Can you please tell me if I can be considered after submitting my additional grades even though I am still trying my best to get a job. Thanks for your help.
So like i said heres the fb group!!
