Hi, guys, i am a P1 at mcphs class of 2014, I was in the same shoes as you guys are last year at the same time, few tips : interview is very easy if you get an interview you are %98 will get in, the courses are medium hard you need to study alot so if you are a party pal not a good idea to attend this school,
Few tips: if you decide to come here, there is a course called US-health care the most difficult and challenging class you will have in your first semister!! I suggest buy the books and start reading it, start read about Medicare and Medical, part ABCD of medicare, as well as how hospitals and doctors manage in the US, in Canada, UK, Germany and Japan, teacher of this class is crazy and very rude she doesnt answer any question and if you ask her question she will get mad or laugh at you or make you the dumbest person in class by her talks so she is not helpful at all.
Tip2:If you haven't take a physiology in your life that would be a good idea to either audit a class or sign up for it in a community college!
The rest of the classes are ok,
You should know that there will be 2 exams in each week, sometimes 3 and some of them in the same day, the semister is 14 weeks and you will take 21 midterms plus 6 finals, over all it is a accelarated program,
The other thing is % 70 of the students have the sample exams from prevous years, teachers do not change their exams so find frinds fast and do not supprise if half of the class get 90+ but you are failing because they have the questions!!
Average of my class for most of the exams was 80+ which I think it is very weird!!
Email me if you have any questions in title right pharmacy school!!
Good luck,
Sorry I type with my iphone in the plane if you see mistakes in my writing😉
