xoomn said:I called yesterday and spoke with Mr. Weatherford and he told me no such offers have been sent. He indicated that about 5-10 people may have been given an offer but not a big chunk. So I guess we still have to wait and see. 😱 😱

Catch33 said:hi everyone,
i got the acceptance email this morning (saturday)!!
i was on the out of state waitlist. i had heard that they were going to take some people off the waitlist perhaps this week or next so was waiting on pins and needles.
this is such a torturous process...i wish you all good luck and good news very soon!!!![]()

bosox, definitely stay in touch with them and let them know how interested you are. The people in admissions are very receptive and friendly. I tried to check in with them once a month when I was waitlisted just to see where I stood. I think calcrew offers great advice to keep in touch with them.
Good luck! It would be great to have another Sox fan as a classmate!

God has blessed me and I have been accepted to VCU/MCV (Saturday). Man it feels great. Very much excited. 🙂Anyone else who is still waiting just hang on ...it's going to come...BTW, I'm an in-stater...

here 's the place i was thinking about- Branblewood Estates.
any thoughts? thanks! 🙂

calcrew14 said:Hang in there. It's all in the game. Sometime it helps to know that a waiting period would be from May to the first few days of August.
Amy B said:I stayed on their instate wait list until August 12th and then recieved an email stating classes were starting and I was out of luck. Not in those exact words, but similar.
I have noticed in the last several years the waitlist movement is really slow. There no longer seems to be a big movement around May 15th or around the time that UVA list starts to move. Just a trend. Sorry. I hope you all get through the list. Good luck.
calcrew14 said:I knew that my chance to get in a school was slim. It would have to be off a waitlist somewhere late. A lot of matriculants that I personally knew seem to get in their schools (in and out of state) from June on.
Someone posted that schools know where applicants are accepted in late April. I was accepted two weeks after that. Prbably, I was taken off the waitlist because I was a sure bet?
There are several of Richmond connections here: Looks like on campus (MCV) housings for professional students and post grads are not available. Is it wise to live alone downtown within a mile off campus? And would you buy a Honda or a Toyota in Richmond or in the vicinity of those three airports: IAD, DCA or BW?
Thanks
