For those familiar with MCW (current medical students or others), what are some things you really like about MCW and what are things you don't like about MCW.

They use living dogs for physiology labs!

I am not trying to ignite a flame war, but I thinks that its horrible.

They've now switched to pigs.

As for me, the dog lab was one of the pros. It was one of the best learning experiences I had 1st year, but not everyone in my class thought so, even if they attended. No one is forced to attend. This has been discussed ad nauseum.

If you want, come over to the MCW threads in the allo-class threads, and ask questions.

I think MCW is really good because there's no undergrad to take attention away from the med students. I liked most of the classes 1st and 2nd year, and I've really enjoyed the clinical side so far, aside from a few rotations where I dreaded getting up in the morning, but that's probably because Psych and I don't mix (unless it's the TV show Psych, then it's a different issue).
