MCW vs TTUHSC PLFSOM

Hello Everyone!

Thankfully, I have been accepted into few MD programs and now I am struggling to choose which one to attend. I am interested in a surgical residency either Ortho or plastic. I am a texas resident and will pay for school based on loans entirely. here are my pros and cons between the schools

PLFSOM
Pros
- much much much cheaper since i am a texas resident
- distinction programs ( specifically anatomy one)
- closer to family 8 hours away
- al ot of outdoor activities near by

Cons
- Relatively new school
- no one has matched into Plastic from there
- not much research opportunities


MCW - Milwaukee
PROS
- Mentorship Curriculum
- very established school
- Strong matching list
- Plastic global brigade opportunity
- have their own residency programs inn almost every speciality


CONS
- Far from family
- Very Cold
- 65K a year


PLEASE I would really appreciate any help
