So I am a re-applicant. 3 years will have passed since I last applied. Trust me, even I wouldn't have given myself an interview the first time I applied. Here's what my resume looks like now:
ugGPA- 3.01
sGPA- 3.1
gGPA-4.0 (Biomedical Sciences)
MCAT- 502 (retaking this June)
1300+ hours shadowing/ clinical experience
200+ hours graduate research
500+ hours clinical volunteering
200+ hours non-clinical volunteering
1 chair position at organization
Expecting killer letters of rec from 2 PhDs and 4 MDs (All at extremely high positions that know me well)
Pending an MCAT score, what are my chances as this stands? I am a Florida resident and applying to all Florida MD and DO schools plus some out of state. Total applications will be around 15 (8 from Florida).
Also, do they take any account for quality of ug degree? I believe I would have gotten a 3.9+ at the current school I'm at (the one I'm finishing my Masters in) but everyone I know struggled to some degree in my ug school.
Any advice to boost my application is appreciated.
