Medical practice for international students

Hello fellows!

I'm a 3rd year medical student from outside US/UK and I would like to take part on medical rotations there.
Is there any possibility for international medical students to do some practice during the summer? If so, is there a particular programme, or are we supposed to find a hospital/doctor and ask them directly?

If you mean doing away rotations in the US, then yes you have to find, contact, and apply to the programs on your own.
