It actually affects it to a large extent considering all the work I am doing nationally for primary care workforce issues. When it comes to mission statements and falsifying data in an effort to gain a positive image for work that is not getting accomplished, it does affect many - including taxpayer money which goes to Medicare and pays for these GME slots that are not producing primary care physicians.
