Meharry vs. MWU-IL

Hey guys! I am trying to decide between these two schools. I am having a hard time so I am wondering if the things I am looking at are actually important. please feel free

Meharry

Pros
-HBCU so that's nice
-Nashville is an AMAZING city
-Cheap Cost of Living
-Not too far from my home state
-Lots of Community Service Opportunities
-90K which is significantly cheaper than other schools
-small class size

Cons
-super outdated facilities (some dusty facilities, chalkboards etc.)
-SIM Lab starts in 2nd year where as other schools start in 1st year
-paying for teeth
-students have privately told me that they hate it but offer no reason why?


MWU-IL
Pros
-loved the atmosphere
-nice little suburban area
-technology advanced
-updated facilities
-very involved student organizations
-D3/D4 suite style
- school doesn't start until late august.

Cons
-expensive (almost 30K more than Meharry each year ://)
-cold AF

Meharry hands down. It's hard to justify paying $120k more for a degree when the end result is the same. You could instead buy a Mercedes G wagon and go to Meharry and still end up paying less in the long run than what it would be to go to MWU-IL.

Meharry. MWU-IL doesn't have the clinical reputation as AZ and 120K is a huge difference

I went to MWU-IL and loved it there, but honestly you graduate with the same degree.. so go with the cheaper option. However, it's also important that you can commit to spending 4 years in whichever institution you choose. Bottom line is: just make sure you'll get that degree!
