Memes don’t have to be based in truth … as is clearly demonstrated in this thread.

But I’ve been interviewing for a sports medicine podiatrist, and I’ll tell you that few people have the skill set to perform at this level. It’s not about non-surgery vs. surgery (more accurately “when to perform surgery”).

It’s about working on a medical team to keep a professional athlete in the game and avoid injury.

A fellowship where one works with pro or Division 1 collegiate athletes and learns about the environment of a multidisciplinary Sports Med Team, is what will make them successful.

For the record I don't have a pig anymore. And sheep not goats so no horns. Maybe the turkeys. Could also be boredom. I think 9 patients tomorrow. No clinic today. Saw 13 Monday. 7 scheduled for Thursday and no surgery booked Friday. But that salary check will cash Friday.
