2024 has been off to a stressful start to me (personal reasons) but I happen to have an open Sunday, so I decided to reflect on 2023's memes. And what a year it was! It was the year of the boards wars, the year of the lobster, the year we produced some absolute legends. Some users left us, and some joined the insanity. 2024 needs to pick up again if we want to revitalize the meme thread!
Methods: I scrolled through all posts from page 8 through page 42 for memes with at least 12 reactions, which is a testament to what a great year it was for meming, because there is a treasure trove of memes with 8+ reactions!
Exclusions:
1) Multiposts--only one meme per post so I know what the audience is reacting to!
2) Metamemes--memes about SDN, memes about SDN users, memes about making memes. I'm only considering podiatry memes!
Honorable Mentions:
@heybrother for making the most memes with 12 or more reactions
@air bud for making the meme with the most reactions (18)
