PAs and NPs just got a VA pay raise as well!
With loan repayment, potential signing bonus and relocation, pension, lots of vacation and basically a guaranteed job for most outside of podiatry it is a stable career with a good ROI and most often good hours.
Most RNs that have worked their entire career there are millionaires (if not close to it) from their 401K alone and they have a nice pension also and can retire young if want.
