Congrats! How soon did they send supplementals, portal login, and application fee information after your application was verified?

Thank you! I submitted AADSAS on 5/31, Midwestern received it and sent me the supplemental/portal login on 6/1, and then it was fully complete by 6/2.

Hey guys! Something really strange happened, I am wondering if this happened to any of you as well. I submitted my application on June 13th and completed the secondary on the 14th and today I got an email saying that denied me an interview, basically a rejection email. How is it possible to make a decision regarding my application in just 1 day and a half after submission?
it seems like they are making decisions quick. what were your stats??

it happens
some schools have automated screening
some schools have staff do a quick review and eliminate applicants for various reasons

i notice you have not done a WAMC thread...

It’s possible, but not extremely common. I do agree that Midwestern Az has been quick to act this term. Agreed with above. What were your stats? Have you filled out a WAMC?

Date of submission: June 14
Overall GPA: 3.3
Science GPA: 3.1
Master Physiology GPA: 3.81
Post Bac GPA: 4.0
DAT score: 18AA, 19TS, 15PAT (will retake early July)
Research experience, over 400 shadowing and dental assisting hours, strong letters etc
what were your dat section scores?

did you indicate on aadsas you are retaking dat?

When I first took my DAT last year these were my scores:
PAT: 15
QR: 17
Biology: 18
RC:17
Gen chem: 18
Ochem: 21
AA: 18
TS: 19

I am planning to retake it this summer again. I did not indicate that I am retaking the DAT when I submitted my application...probably that was the case they rejected me due to my DAT score...
hey! I think your issue was the PAT score, I think they may have screened you out for that, because I had a AA18 TS19 last year, and had no issues, (no section under 18).

Hey! Yeah that might be the cause. Hopefully, I can improve my PAT score and do better in general on the DAT this summer. It is definitely so disappointing to be rejected after 2 days you submit your application lol :(
Please keep your head up!!!! It's all going to work out, I promise!

It might be possible you didn’t indicate a retake on your app. I’d maybe reach out to schools and let them know so hopefully you don’t get screened out right away from others. Good luck and keep your head up, still SUPER early!
That is a very good idea, I will reach out to them. Thank you so much!!

what is the earliest interview date you can select?

Do schools send rejections after you get waitlisted? Or waitlist means rejection? I ask about MWU-AZ. Has anyone get rejection email after waitlisted?

You can get rejected after being waitlisted, usually when the class is full and after orientation has started. Usually it happens a couple of days after formal matriculation.
Do they send official email for rejection? Or since I haven’t heard back it means they already rejected me?

what is the earliest interview date you can select?
kind of shocking, but i heard this morning that the earliest interview date as of now is 10/16...

Is being put on the interview waitlist a soft rejection? I have a 3.95 overall GPA (science 3.94) and a 24 AA DAT but still got waitlisted...

a waitlist is a waitlist
there is no such thing as a "soft rejection"...

Earliest interview date is now December 12, possibly 14th.

Curious if there is any advantage to someone who gives a good interview the day before acceptances go out, compared to someone who interviews the first interview day.

just do your best no matter when the interview is...

It shouldn’t really matter too much but the general consensus is interviewing pre December means you’ll get some type of decision come decision day.

But I’d imagine schools have made decisions to admit/waitlist applicants that interview early prior to decision day, but they just can’t disclose that information until the day comes

But regardless, if you interview that’s better than 50-70% of applicants that applied to the school. So just do your best and rock it. Whether it’s closer to decision day or not you have a chance for admission

Can someone who is interviewing Nov or Dec PM me
