I interviewed at the end of January and my portal still says awaiting decision as well, hoping to hear something soon!
 
My portal also says "Awaiting decision" and it has been cricket silence. I really hope we hear something soon because they said a few weeks and it has been MUCH longer than that. I wonder if once the deadline for multiple deposit people is reached we will hear something?
 
I was waitlisted Dec 13 and have literally heard zero from them. I’ve sent the LOI and nothing…. So discouraging. Plus they just continue to do interviews and add more and more to the list. I feel
Like us “Pre-Dec” are just buried by now and stand no chance. Too many files on top of ours to even look through 😩🥺

When you say you got waitlisted, does your portal say you are waitlisted or you just did not receive a decision since interviewing (like your portal says awaiting deicision)?

Sorry, I just want to clarify to understand if I am waitlisted or not. TIA!

It says waitlisted and I received an email that I was placed in the waitlist

MWU’s top feeder states are IL, MI, CA, and FL. Not to discourage you but it’s never a good idea to put all your hope into one program and always prepare for a reapplication to increase your chances for next cycle

Definitely don’t have all my hope in the MWU basket. It’s just a frustration with programs that waitlist in Dec. and then continue to waitlist for the remainder of the cycle and never really revisit those waitlisted earlier. It appears like they will take from those post December rather than those pre-Dec. and I think most of us who are pre-December would much rather have a definitive answer than sitting on a waitlist for months and months and months. Obviously no one wants a rejection, but a rejection is much better than just sitting on a waitlist with no chances of getting off of it because they have so many people that have interviewed more recently and your file is just buried.

You can't definitively say what they're doing and what they're not doing...everything is just a guess unless you've talked to admissions or somebody that 100% knows. Don't drive yourself crazy thinking about this and try to keep waiting patiently. In the meantime, try to do things like volunteering you think may help your resume stand out more if in the worst-case scenario, you have to apply again. Have to have patience and trust the process.
 
Soooo has there been any waitlist movement/ acceptances from post December interviews?

I interviewed first day of interviews back in SEPTEMBER, still waitlisted... TBH, their waitlist doesn't move as much as it used to. This is coming from someone who was waitlisted here last cycle but never rejected lol
 
That’s really unfortunate. You’d think those who interview first would be considered sooner, especially if the process is supposed to be truly “rolling.” I guess at this point, it’s just a matter of trusting the process and staying patient hopefully we get lucky!
 
I had an interview in the first week of October, and it’s been a bit nerve-wracking since I was waitlisted on D-day. I’m starting to fear pre December interviewees that were waitlisted are on the back burner 🙁 Also, congrats to everyone who got accepted!

Does anyone have an idea how much of the class size has been filled already? I didn't get an interview offer yet, it says file still being reviewed in the portal.

No way of knowing how many people are in the class. Just estimates. I'd imagine at this point the interviews are over or coming to an end. They said they will interview in march but said nothing about April.

Hey guys, I interviewed at the end of January and still haven’t heard anything back! ADEA portal says 'none,' and the school portal says 'awaiting decision.' No idea what the admissions committee is thinking or doing. My group was told we’d hear back after the 31st, but it’s been two whole months since then. Really frustrated because I thought my interview went well and I enjoyed my time on campus.

Pretty much in the same spot so I understand your frustration. I might try to call when its the weekday again.
 
Looks like they updated and redesigned their portal which made me excited when I first opened it but its still the same "Awaiting Decision".

Just logged in again and saw that mine updated too. Hopefully that means some good news is on the way for us and @sufiteeth soon.

The committee meets once a month on Fridays. maybe some news next wk
 
Any recent acceptances/waitlist movement? Still waitlisted, interviewed pre-December.
 
So I just called and they said they have no idea when the committee meets or makes a decision. I explained how many of us are just alarmed because we were told we'd hear back in about 3 weeks but it's been 2 months, and they were apologetic. so still, nothing 😀
