I haven't heard anything. Interviewed mid-week of November. WL'd on D-day.

I’ve been browsing through some forums for the class of 2027 and 2028, and it’s got me a bit concerned. One applicant mentioned that Midwestern University rarely sends out rejection letters; instead, they either offer an acceptance or place applicants on a waitlist. If this is the case, how large is the waitlist and how quick will it move?

they will send out rejections eventually! re the waitlist, i feel like no one knows ;( During my interview they said they pull applicants off the list often

I saw some movement in March based on last year’s thread.

i don’t think they’re going off by the book this years since they received more applications. i haven’t seen any january movement and last year they had a lot of it so idk

We don’t know if it’s full for all incoming students! Some might be faculty and others might be existing students that are there to talk to the incoming D1s. We don’t know for sure the number of seats that have been filled

Where did I say if its full for incoming students or not or make any assumptions??? I just said there is a group already posted by a user here that has more people than what dental dude posted.

I apologize, you did not make any assumptions I just interpreted it as that way so I guess I’m the one making assumptions, but I still stand by what I said.

I totally agree with the fact that not all people in the group are incoming students. There are many faculty people and and D2/D3/D4 students. And many students in there placed a deposit but might not even attend the school, some may have forgotten to leave the group.

I had my interview last week and they said they have "plenty of seats available still" for those worried about how many people are filling the gc or following the ig page. they also said they're interviewing till march.

Yes! Sorry for the late response, they said it would take three weeks at least to hear back and told us not to expect anything less than three weeks from the day we were there. Its been pretty much a week and a half since my interview.

No one knows at this rate when we will get a response. I have been waiting close to 2 months now without a single word from admissions. I don't know how long they are going to keep us in silence.

Whoops forgot to add “hope” in my last reply and I haven’t been accepted still in waitlist 🙁

I completed my interview at the beginning of January and was placed on the waitlist the next day. I sent a LOI about 1-2 weeks after that and was just accepted off their waitlist on Monday morning. Don't lose hope waitlist movement is happening!
