This is kind of interesting to me, maybe its nothing maybe it something. Made me wonder. Anyone else have feelings. It seemed like they trusted each other, which is cool and all. I think that maybe AM was using her to try to clear herself? Idk I could totally be tunneling. Anyone have any thoughts or feels on this. It just seemed different to me.

Just don't tunnel on it. Remember that wolves can (usually) submit contingent moves. When I play a PR (villager OR wolf), I usually have a contingent move in a day ahead of time.

I'm not seeing that as two way trust though. Nearly all of Day 2 was about me not seeming like the village AM. I also think she only interacted with me twice?

She had an eye on me (side-eye) and Allie at the start of yesterday. I’m not getting anything too over powering that the wolves would want her gone. Anyone else have any thoughts? Something I’m missing?

If one wolf is on then the others don't have to be, also they can check in a few hours after close to submit actions. Like LIS said there could be contingency actions or they might just have not been active during lynch close. Good thought though I like seeing you try.

Yeah, 3 wolves 3 villagers with abilities iirc. I didnt think all would be wolves just something I thought may be good to watch.

FTFY. It's true that LIS is grumpy and can make you cry. He does do a lot of teaching though, I've learned a lot from him which is why I quote him a lot like Jesus. Thing is he might lynch your ass but he'll usually take the time to explain what he thinks is good WW play.

You guys, I literally get called out for this every game. Besides me being busy day 1 and not making it back to check the thread, I actually think I've been contributing more than normal. Or at least I'm making an attempt to. I never ISO people's posts and I spent way too long doing that yesterday trying to get good reads on people. I don't ever try to not give much to go off of. Why would I do that? I'm just quiet in nature and don't like arguing. Maybe I just shouldn't play anymore, but it should at least be clear that this is NORMAL for me. Unfortunately it's also normal for me when I'm a woof so take that as you will.

Maybe you just think I'm being quieter because Pippy isn't around for me to tunnel on and get into spats with...is that it?

To be fair, I think Allie is playing a normal amount for her, actually, maybe a bit more. I know I voted her, but that was because I felt she had some wolf vs villager action with Coopah early on. Just something felt off with the reasoning of her logic with challenging Coopah with what she did. I'm continuing to watch her today.

So, Allie, I hope you understand that I'm not lynching you for being quiet, and I hope you still play. I like playing with you and I like it when you contribute. Please don't quit. Even if you get lynched and I'm on it!

You're wrong, though. Look at the progression. Yeah, I got called out for not being aggressive like I often am, but my replies to you aren't a response to that. They're a response to me voting for you, and then you coming after me with things that mischaracterize what I'm saying.

So my "aggressiveness" (if you want to call it that) is a direct response to you. It's legit. It has nothing to do with ... whoever (Cray?) brought up my meta.

You can't ignore the context.

Saying you're going to be missing is 100% meaningless - even if it's true. A wolf can also be busy. And a wolf can also pretend to be busy. No way to differentiate, so you saying you're going to be missing is something I'm going to completely ignore, and I'm just going to evaluate based on your play. I expect the same, and I've been lynched for it when I've been legit busy, and I get it.

You're acting as if just because you say you won't post, that I should just take that as truth and roll with it. Why on earth would I do that? Do you even understand this game?

You are not the first person to say "hey seer come check me out" but honestly, that's rarely useful.

The hard part too in a game like this with no PM'ing, is for the seer to get that on the thread without alerting the wolves.

In some ways it's best if the seer doesn't go for people who ask to be seered. I don't think this game has it, but some games have unseerable wolves. That happened with Staffy in the noob game.

If the seer seers someone who has asked on the thread, even if they're villager, and then seems to have too much pushing the next day on that person, then the wolves might pick up on that.

I think it's harder for wolves to detect the seer if the seer just picks their own targets and then figures out how best to proceed.

Just my 2 cents.

My original post was like, I know you don't trust me but I actually said I was going to be missing, which was your argument against me. Then you started insulting me and claiming to not understand what I was saying and you never acknowledged that it made sense I wasnt going to post much in the afternoon when I had explicitly said I wouldn't. It doesn't make sense. So there is the aggression, that which escalated out of nothing.

I invite the seer to check me out. There is no case.

Asking a seer to check me out is also a common strategy I'll use as a wolf to buy myself an extra cycle. No argument for you.

I don't I think he means to say that new people are inherently sketchy, but he is trying to get across that when you're playing with a new person, you don't have a meta on them. This means that everything they do you will look at in a more scrutinizing way, because you don't know what is normal for them and what isn't. For players that you've played with a lot before some of their behaviors may just be chalked up to their meta. I hope I'm explaining that okay.

Yeah, this is pretty sound. New players are more likely to get lynched because they're too unpredictable late game. Noobs are more likely to lunch older players because they don't understand their meta. They're also unlikely to understand just how much @DVMDream loves the word meta

I'm going to come out and defend AM's play style, even though it's sketchy af and can make her a good mid-game lynch.

If you ask a question, you want an honest answer, yeah. Sometimes if you reveal *why* you asked it before getting an answer, you can essentially help handhold a wolf into the answer that will appease the curious villager.

Rapid fire questions without hints at what the villager is getting at, can make a wolf engaging in real time awful nervous and slip up.

AM's style makes it very hard for villagers to know what affiliation she is, though. If she is villager, it's a legit strategy for getting wolves. I've looked at strat guides for WW and especially in games where people don't know one another interrogation and playing close to the vest can be good.

I will agree, that if AM is a villager, playing with people who do rely on meta, it would help village if she said more to us about what conclusions she's coming to based on the answers to her questions, or just in general.

I don't take issue with her being the Spanish Inquisition and not having to justify her questions. I do wish we had more of her thoughts, though.

Her style does seem to change with her affiliation, but I still find it hard to read.

I am a reknowned night owl and almost always on around lynch deadline. In fact, I often set alarms for it. It's also exciting to me to watch the last minute waffles and get results.

I think looking at who's on at night isn't a bad thought at all. Only issue with your theory, is if you use that strategy, wouldn't you be just as likely to look at villager PR as wolves, if you think they're on at night? Would that lead us to offing our PRs? I think it's not a bad strategy if we are careful to look at other aspects of gameplay too.

My issue isn't the 20 questions. I love her pressuring people. My issue is with her being asked questions and replied with idk. It's fine if she wants to ask the questions but she should answer them too.

I think this is a good catch.

I also think that sometimes wolves tend to kill randomly so as not to be too predictable. But definitely seems like YK is trying to "act" like a villager with that statement.

This is an interesting pick up. I think you're on the right track here but slightly off IDK that I would use "trust" to describe that interaction though.

So I did this off of memory, with the order given by mods.

1. Animal Midwife- still giving me weird feel. I frequently feel like she is twisting words on people. When I see this I think it could be a wolf move to try and then be able to say “hey look village, this person keeps flipping, WOLF”. I admit this could very well be egg on my face, tunneling. I feel like I wont be happy until the end of this. But I’m trying to remain somewhat open.
4. bryndiana.jones- Starting to see BJone from WWinter, however I think it was only two, so still have my eye on this one.
6. Coopah - I will have to look at more post, i think people were saying some earlier discussion felt V on V. I’m terrible at seeing what is village on village vs villlage on wolf. I am hoping this comes with play..?
7. Crayola227- she is posting less but in dead chat of Rehab she did say she was going to try a new method because she had been told so ma
8. Stella Mudd- very quite, but seems to be consistent about the time at which she gets on to play and I get life. Besides many typos/randomness nothing bothered me too much here. However I do think that the going after bjones for saying she previous thought she (Stella) was a wolf when she wasn’t is slightly weak to still be using. Maybe I am going after the wrong “wrong data” thing?
9. SnowshoeDog143- few reads with few posts. More looking is needed
10. allieh8607- will watch since Kara said she was suspicious of her and so far Kara is all we have for a wolf kill. Minimal here

YK has shot up my sketch list today. I have Allie and Brindi up there too. Allie dropped a bit compared to yesterday, and Brindi rose. Haxx and MJ are there but maybe a bit lower than yesterday.
Not sure if I have Coop, AM, genny in a blind spot. I want to hear more from AM and genny in particular.
Not sure how to read LIS/Coffee. LIS vs noob is a common occurrence and isn't always clear if w/v vs w/v
Hard to read Snowy and MA for obs reasons that they're not able to play as much.

Of the lynches so far, I could get on BJ. Otherwise I would start one on YK or Allie.

Makes a decent point about Kara and AM, but it also raises my eyebrow on her. If YK flips village will look harder on AM.
Yesterday felt like maybe feeding into a distraction with Jboo who flipped village, and Brindi (who could be the wolf in this, but I got to look at the whole picture and start somewhere). If YK flips village will also look harder at BJ.
Today seems a bit more mellow, wonder if the wolfpack is toning her down, or there's just less drama for YK to jump on.

lol you can't keep lynching people based on if you like their method of playing the game. I too have the most feels for AM at the moment but that justification is not great. You're learning but just a little helpful tip. AM is typically a fantastic player and idk what it is with this game usually we have something to go off of by now. Maybe it's because we're missing pip.

I'm still reading Mixy as wolfy, based on the posts of hers that I flagged before. I know she's busy, but nothing she's said has really changed my mind. Not sure I want to vote there though if she's on the edge of being mod killed...

So I think I'll go with Coop instead. I felt like Coop was floundering day 1 to try to get some suspicion to stick somewhere, and is now pushing AM really hard. And I'm just not reading AM that way at all, which makes me wonder why Coop is pushing it so hard. Could be village tunneling, maybe. But it comes off as wolfy to me, trying to steer the game in that direction.

Lol still some people feel that's bad play. I get it, but like sometimes I'm on school thread or something and it has nothing to do with this or since I'm MST I can be on this thread before, during, and after lynch better than others so I may be on (however not currently the case because work). Just don't get too wrapped up in that is all 🙂
