So I see a bunch of these posts, I love you to death but I've seen next to nothing as far as strategy goes. You're usually much more aggressive.

Confirmation bias.

I don’t have a thing against new players. If you look, I have votes for plenty of vets. There are a lot of new players, though, and I know their meta less, so they stand out kore as sketchy to me.

It isn’t some new player hate like you are implying. And given how much I’ve helped new players, you are out of line.

Sometimes. Other games when I just don’t give a rip I’m not as aggressive. Why are you ignoring those games?

I’m aggressive also when I’m suspicious. I don’t have much this game.

Sorry I didn't mean to imply it like a hate but you're just agreeing with what I said: someone is sketchy just because they're new, like stranger danger.

It is my meta to not be on my phone at work except on break and to stay alive while driving 🙄

That’s a DubZ/WZ (cause somehow, RM nicknamed me Dubz &, as a result, WZ & I are now glommed as one) thing? Maybe? I am never super like “vote now or I’ll kill you ded” - I am “I’ll kill you. Cause I can. Regardless of voting” type.

It’s a subtle difference but that’s me. Empress Subtlety 😉

I’m kinda of interested in watching those who seem to have maybe already lynched but get on again mainly near lynch close. Makes me wonder if they have night actions they have to be on for. Just a thought. I’ll be back after i take care of this cranky baby. :brb:
 
I’m also interested to look into who Kara has voted for & was most curious about; maybe she was on to something and the wolves felt it would be best if she was gone. :thinking:
 
Here are my thoughts this morning:
Haxx- He seems to add content and disappear, Cray mentioned looking into him more since his play style is the opposite of her own, and he does not contribute to larger discussion.
MJ- Never played with him, but he has contributed perhaps 1 or 2 posts with any content in them. When I asked why he voted for AM, he said that she has been more aggressive than he is used to, but did not go into further detail. He has also not listed any other players he thinks might be wolfy, and his D1 vote was a joke vote.
Cray- Not her usual "post happy" self, she acknowledged it, but so far has only given us one of her run downs, and I remember Kara asking her to post more of her thoughts before she died.
LIS- Also acknowledged that he doesn't have any strong feelz for anyone this game, and that is why he is being less aggressive with his posting. Never played a game with him where he isn't aggressive (in my limited experience with him), so this could be nothing, could be wolfy.
Allie- Seems a bit more quiet this game than last. Someone else mentioned it as well.
AM- Reading village for now, she was more quiet and evasive in the whisk game when she wolfed. So she either got herself together for this game, or is really just her village self.


I will be going back in a few hours to iso these players (and perhaps more) to see if I can find anything.

Conveniently I was just catching up with yesterday's posts.

I still stand firm with Allie. There hasnt been a lot more posts from her. Seems like she is really trying to not give much to go off of.
Though She pointed out MJ's sketchiness and I did agree with her, now I'm thinking, even if maybe it is a silly defense, if he really has depression he is probably just playing however he wants without really caring, like just for fun. Idk my sister has dealt with depression so I have a soft spot for that, but I guess he could very well be a wolf

The quiet one Haxx has me suspecting too. He jumped early on Jboo train. She ended up being an easy target for everyone but never seemed sketch to me personally.

You guys, I literally get called out for this every game. Besides me being busy day 1 and not making it back to check the thread, I actually think I've been contributing more than normal. Or at least I'm making an attempt to. I never ISO people's posts and I spent way too long doing that yesterday trying to get good reads on people. I don't ever try to not give much to go off of. Why would I do that? I'm just quiet in nature and don't like arguing. Maybe I just shouldn't play anymore, but it should at least be clear that this is NORMAL for me. Unfortunately it's also normal for me when I'm a woof so take that as you will.

Maybe you just think I'm being quieter because Pippy isn't around for me to tunnel on and get into spats with...is that it?

I said it's easier to read a new person as sketchy because there's no meta. The difference might be slight, but it's important. I'm not inherently saying "new person = bad." I'm saying "new person = no meta = harder to read = can be easily interpreted as sketchy."

You're acting as if I hate on new players, and that is incredibly rude. It's also false.

You're just whining because I'm voting for you, but I explained why. You showed up early, then vanished, and now you're back with ... dubious, at best, comments. It's a lot like a wolf trying to sorta-participate-but-not-sure-how.

Maybe it's because some wolves are coaching Coffee to make sure she participates more, and she isn't sure how so she is trying to find a few easily defensible points to make.

From day 1 after even just my first post you called me on it, so yes I think it is very clear you're against me for that. Like I didn't have any analyses, I'm suspicious. And why, because I needed more data to analyze. Now that I'm analyzing, I'm suspicious. That's stupid and inconsistent.

I didn't jump on the Jboo train, I was the first to vote for her(?). There's a big difference there. I was wrong, but implying a bandwagon is when there was none is just plain wrong.
 
So, my observation today has been that BJ has changed her play style since day 1 after I called her out for too many posts. Seems to me like she may have had some wolfy friends tell her to tone it down a bit, because it's been a complete 180. I'm going to go back to my initial D1 vote and Lynch BJ.
 
One thing that's tough for me this game is that I haven't played with a lot of these vetties that are newer. I don't have the time to go back and sift through other game threads that they have played in, so there are a lot of fresh reads I need to make.

I'm at work, so I can't camp for a lot of the day like I did on D1. I have to post around my work schedule, like I did yesterday. Just tried to start off today with some observations. To some extent it doesn't matter if I play the same as D1 or not, because either way I'll be called wolfy for something.

He explicitly is saying that new people are more easily to find as sketchy. He said that. Some how when I try to quote him I'm saying he is "hating on new people" or that "he thinks new people are bad".

The timing here is awfully convenient: right after you're called out for not being aggressive enough.

I don't I think he means to say that new people are inherently sketchy, but he is trying to get across that when you're playing with a new person, you don't have a meta on them. This means that everything they do you will look at in a more scrutinizing way, because you don't know what is normal for them and what isn't. For players that you've played with a lot before some of their behaviors may just be chalked up to their meta. I hope I'm explaining that okay.

You're not being stupid.

You're mischaracterizing what I'm saying.

And that is a super big pet peeve of mine.

And in a WW game, it's also tremendously sketchy because wolves have an inherent interest in making sure people are misunderstood, casting confusion, sewing doubt, and trying to twist people's words to make them shady.

Your last observation is more on track with smart playing.

You're wrong, though. Look at the progression. Yeah, I got called out for not being aggressive like I often am, but my replies to you aren't a response to that. They're a response to me voting for you, and then you coming after me with things that mischaracterize what I'm saying.

So my "aggressiveness" (if you want to call it that) is a direct response to you. It's legit. It has nothing to do with ... whoever (Cray?) brought up my meta.

You can't ignore the context.

It definitely makes sense what you're saying but to me it is one and the same. What is sketchiness if it is not that which results in being watched out of the corner of your eye?
