1) N00bs aren't always sketchy. They've skated before simply because they aren't well known. So - not necessarily a negative.
2) You can't pull off your own meta? Your meta is "avalanche". Of course you can.
3) Genny played a solid game.
4) Subbed wolf? There were what, 2 sub'd villagers? That more than balanced out against the village.
What I mean is: you made the deduction about me being vig for the wrong reason. Coffee spelled out in the dead thread why, and you just did as well - you assumed that it went like this: I vig'd Coffee and failed, so I pushed Coffee because of that, therefore I was vig and it's "as simple as that."
But that's not how it went. I didn't make that conclusion because of the failed vig on Coffee. I certainly <considered> it, but that wasn't why I pushed Coffee. I pushed Coffee precisely because of why I said I did in thread.
So - right move, wrong reason in the sense that your conclusions about what <I> was thinking were wrong. I didn't say your conclusion about me being a vig was wrong.
You were. You recovered with an avalanche of info, but good village play would have caught it. And I said so before anyone told me. You just played the "and obv we were right" card to "prove" yourself, so that makes it fair game: obv I was right.
Revisionist (and incorrect) history. I have MANY MANY MANY times (more often than not) complimented wolves on a good win.
This just wasn't one of them.
I appreciate that 2 subbed villagers is tough and balances out us having a subbed wolf.
My point is, do you really think Coffee the noob, ME, and genny who is then subbed for Skimble (no offense Skimble, just seems you're often considered sketch), is the wolf pack dream team???? So yeah, we had an uphill battle.
I think I'm the biggest wolf handicap there is. The only thing you can count on is that I'll play hard. That's it.
My meta is more than just avalanche. I respect anyone that calls me out for a change in tone in my posts. Not my hours, not my likes, not how many posts there are, because there's plenty some days and less some, and I'm never going to lurk my way through a wolf game. Easiest way to catch me I know people will expect, so I'm not going to do it. Sure, people will say one day I'll do it as wolf to shock everyone, but no one will ever trust me enough for that to work for me as wolf. I have to hide in plain sight or not live at all.
So I have to post. And everyone says, "oh she's making more sense. These feel lighter. The logic is better. She's not as reactive." The truth is, if I'm not wolf hunting, I can put all my energy into looking more like a model villager. I don't freak out about one vote or 5 against me, because it's hard to have righteous indignation when I'm a wolf and I feel bad faking it. I don't want to draw attention to the suspicion. I know the silly logic that the more you freak the more they lynch.
I'm more willing to react as villager because the stakes aren't as high - I defend aggressively because it doesn't feel fair, I want to play, and I'm not going down without a fight. Plus, maybe I frak things up not being the model villager and getting my ass lynched, but unless I have a PR, it's not as catastrophic as a losing a wolf. A little bit damned if you do, damned if you don't for defending hard or not as a villager. As a wolf I *have* to play it cool for the pack. I'm more scared and play that way.
It's not that I don't understand what looks like good villaging to people - or I wouldn't have play people liked better as a wolf - it's just the only time that's my main consideration is if I'm wolf. I'm not actually dumb at this game, I just have lots of things to improve and learn. I clearly haven't mastered wolfing or villaging by a long shot.
Villager Cray just wolf-hunts. Villagers relying too much on traditional sense of what's wolfy or not drives me nuts. I won't pander to it as a villager because it's silly. I will as a wolf because it behooves me to do so.
The ideas of "wolfy" or "not wolfy" often gets the the wrong people lynched while wolves play on it looking like good villagers.
And I think I explained better that it wasn't just you going for Coffee's lynch that led to our conclusion. Blocking you N2 and no vig kill anywhere - either vig didn't act or it was who we blocked. So you were NOT a bad bet at that point. Blocking and killing you N3 was the smart wolf move and confirmatory. We did consider other possibilities than you being vig. So we were deliberate.
Genny was very much playing hard at the start of the game, so don't put it past her that she was schooling us on how the mechanics of that could be considered every which way and what the best wolf moves might be.
I see what you mean that there was some leeway on it not being you, and if you didn't push Coffee's lynch because you thought she was a wolf... not sure why you did anything you did, then. Why vig hit her? Why try to lynch her before BJ's reveal? We had reason to suspect you, there was a no protector night and no vig hit... it was a good thought. But the only answer was that the vig didn't act despite doing so N1 or it was you who was blocked.
