A couple movies I've recently seen;
First, I highly recommend Twelve, directed by Joel Schumaker. Never heard of it and not sure how it did at the Box Office. But, it was a seriously great movie. Check it out.
Had a bit of everything. Underlying, it was a reasonably heavy plot with a really great style.
The other movie I've seen recently, which was a bit disappointing (though Westerns have never been my "style") was True Grit. A decent movie, but it just lacked something. Again, not bad, just not great IMO.
Any others?
