Meeeechecking my email so much, I might be going crazy lol
Congrats! (Hello fellow VISTA, I'm assuming) 😉Accepted to UIC just now and GWU earlier in the week! Yayyyyy!
Haha you know it - clearly not very original in the usernameCongrats! (Hello fellow VISTA, I'm assuming) 😉

Hopkins has two visit days: 3/8 and 4/5. Definitely going to go to one, just have to figure out which date works best with work! Also, anyone planning on going to Tulane's visit day on 3/15? I'm considering!
I'll also be attending the Admitted Students Day! The U is fourth of my top four schools. I'm going to visit the other three, and I decided there's no harm in doing this one because I live like two blocks from the SPH building.
Who knows. Maybe they'll wow me with a phenomenal day. And it's very unlikely to be that cold in March. This winter has been pretty mild up until this week. Hopefully we bounce back to our balmy 40 degree temperatures soon!
Gopher15, I tried to PM you to talk about Minn. but wasn't able to (?)
Also attending visit day @ TUPlanning to attend Tulane 3/15 as well - keeping the program in consideration, though know little about it.
Oh wow, thanks for letting me know! This makes me think mine was definitely lost in the mail or never got sent out. I'll reach out to them again. Thanks!I was accepted to BU on January 19th and received my package three days ago. I should add that I live in New England so that might have contributed. But still, you were accepted a whole month before me...
That CDC fellowship is always going to lead to +$$$$$, congrats! What type of env health are you interested in? I'm moving into that field and looking to study food security.Ok…it’s been such a relief to see folks on here keeping it real about finances. Even though I wish I could choose my school based on more exciting things like research, location, etc., I went into this knowing affordability is going to end up being my main deciding factor.
With that in mind, I tried to play the long game with scholarships. I applied to 10 schools (not a very affordable move in and of itself!!) all offering scholarships specific to my interests/experiences. Here are my stats and my luck so far. Let’s hope February brings us all some good news!

In at Dartmouth with a small scholarship!
In at Dartmouth today as well!
Does anyone know anything about TDI from first hand experience? I feel that the fact that it's an IVY league school and the lower tuition is the biggest things going for it - and I'm not sure how much the name will carry me.
I'm a practicing pharmacist looking to go into health policy in the government sector. How much does where you go to school matter, especially for an online program?
Same here! Heads up to all, I guess Dartmouth wants us to let them know our decision by March 1st.
When I called last week, they said that they don't 🙁 They don't have student hosted accommodations either unfortunately.I just emailed admissions, but does anyone know if Columbia offers travel reimbursement for their Admitted Students Day? Or accommodation hosted by current students?
I got it too. I assumed they sent it to everyone who applied to their grad programs.Did anyone get that email from Harvard to apply for summer sessions? Does that mean anything

The plot thickens...I got that email & didn't apply to Harvard![]()
I got it too, as one of the many emails which only exacerbate our stress level in these hard days! I’m extremely waiting for UMN and GW scholarships notifications!Did anyone get that email from Harvard to apply for summer sessions? Does that mean anything

I just got an email that I was recommended for admission to Berkeley!! The official decision from the Grad Division should be coming soon.
Just gonna say that now I’m refreshing my email every 2 seconds, illogical as that is, because you’ve said this.
For those of you who got into GW, what programs did you apply to?

Global Environmental Health! They have a Food Institute as well and this seems like one of the better options for getting into food security. For those of you who got into GW, what programs did you apply to?

I was SO SHOCKED. It was 5:18 pm and I saw SPH Admissions as the sender and freaked out. I’m not sure if it’s bc MCAH is a smaller department but after they’re email earlier this month I totally thought it’d be mid-feb at the earliest.
Their admit day is Monday, March 18th though! Hope to see you there! 🙂
Yes, I did! I think the personalized webpage is a nice touch 🙂did anyone else get an email from Yale with a "personal website" - also saying admissions decisions are planning to be out the first week of March?
Accepted to University of Georgia - epidemiology! A good, safe choice.
Has anyone heard from Colorado School of Public Health for Colorado State campus programs? Obsessively checking my email even though its a weekend![]()
