Experience/Research (please, be brief):
--authored or co-authored 4 peer reviewed publications on animal behavior from undergrad
--interned with community participatory behavioral intervention focused on anti-female-circumcision in Kenya
--worked for major research university's Institutional Review Board for 2.5 years--doing review work and then metrics and evalution
Interested in: Social Epidemiology, social and environmental determinants of health, and behavioral interventions. Want to go on to PhD and do research in the long term.
Applied: UCLA, UW, Ohio State, Columbia, George Washington, Harvard (all EPI)
Accepted: UCLA, UW, Ohio State--> nominated by School of Public health for full ride scholarship, under review by graduate school right now! Columbia, George Washington w/10k scholarship
