I just got accepted to Columbia! I told my parents that I got in when Columbia made that admissions mistakes a few weeks ago, and I wimped out on telling them that it was a mistake because they were so happy. Gosh, I feel like I can breathe now. Congrats to everyone that got in today!

Saw this tweet today and thought I would share since so many of us applied to Emory.

Extremely sad. Wasn't even that long ago. Just shows how important it is to have diversity and representation in medicine and public health as a whole. We need to work hard to eliminate barriers like this, because it still exists, just less obvious. Hoping we can all work together to change that.
