Does KCU have GME? The MSUCOM residency system is massive, not only every specialty but multiple programs in each (there's like ten ortho programs for example). I don't know about ranking before comlex but I have seen things like PDs embracing 2nd year specialty club presidents in a hug, so there's definitely the feeling that MSU wants to take care of their own.

KCU has an OPTI, which basically are affiliates. But the difference is that the home programs like at MSU, OSU, and PCOM truly favor the home team and act the way home programs do in the MD world. Affiliates don't really do that.

MSU. MSU. MSU. MSU. MSU.

Oh, BTW.......MSU. I would have killed to have a chance there (hockey rinks galore!!!!). However, the in state bias is massive.

Very true. KCUs opti isn't as strong as MSU or other bigger places like PCOM. You'll see a large amount KCU students matching affiliate teaching hospitals of UMKC (st Luke's and Truman MC) as well as KU Med.

But having a home team per se like MSUs opti is great to have seriously.
