Question is in the title.

Which one would you choose?

RVUCOM has a 100% match, osteopathic only facility, small campus. Seems to be doing great. But its got that "for profit stigma," even though that doesn't really appear to matter to PDs for residency.

MUCOM is also new. Beautiful facility. People were kind. Lots of research options in Indianapolis. COMLEX / USMLE scores similar to that of RVUCOM, but haven't matched a class yet (until theoretically today.)

What do you guys think?

RVUs Internal Med match list was great. UoHawaii, UofSD, University of Buffalo, Cleveland Clinic, Oregon Health and Sciences University, UofCincannati. Lots of academic programs. EM at UCLA Ronald Reagan. - albeit, its a match list and self selective but the IM list speaks for itself since usually theres not too many academic IM placements from DO achools.

MUCOM only has OMSIII's. Their first class to match will be next year.

RVU wins every time unless you need to go to MUCOM for location or something.

Side note: as was mentioned above MUCOM won't match students until next year

Now with MUCOM allowing future classes only 2 audition rotations outside of MUCOM affiliates, RVU is the clear winner.

I am interviewing later this month. 3.3 cGPA and a 511 MCAT. do I have a competitive shot at acceptance?

Which school? I was told by a RVU student that they usually have a lot of their class filled by the end of the year. If you are interviewing though I would say that you have a chance that is definitely better than 0
