correct me if i am wrong

Yes, smiling tooth you are right........if we excessively raise the flap...then it can lead to more bone resorption after surgery.....and therefore shortened vestibule.Thankyou for the correcting!

a dentist relined a patient's maxillary complete denture. this patient returned repeatedly for adjustments of the erythematous areas on the ridge crest. the most likely cause is?

- an allergy to the acrylic resin that was used for relining
- presence of a pressure spot in the relined impression
- loss of even centric relation contacts
- decrease in occlusal vertical dimension

it says that correct answer is "loss of even centric relation contacts" why? why other choices are not correct? like A and B?

another question:
which of the following teeth have a natural tendency to drift mesially?

-permanent maxillary second molars---> answer key says is correct
-mandibular second premolars
-primary maxillaryt second molars
-permanent mandibular centarl incisors

why?

Thanks again for the questions they are great!
efficacy - is if two drugs occupy the same number of receptors on a tissue, and one drug elicits a greater biological response than the other drug (by its action on the receptor) then that drug has greater efficacy
potency -is the maximum effect achieved by a drug

PLEASE KEEP POSTING MORE QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👍🙂

Verruga Vulgaris are caused by a virus that infects the skin. When the virus invades the skin it causes the skin cells to grow rapidly, forming the wart. The virus only invades individuals that have limited immunity against it.
That is why the answer is Autoinoculation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow for the mentally ******ed child I would have answered HOME Hand of Mouth Exercise! But lets go with the physical restraint you sure that was under the right answer right?😕

PLEASE KEEP THE QUESTIONS COMING !!!!!!! GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!🙂

theres another question based on a case, I didnt understand. would you please explaine it?

Lower incisor cumulative width= 22.0 mm
predicted sum of mandibular canine and premolar width at 75% level= 22.6 mm
computed amount of arch space available = 63.0mm

(what are these?)

what degree of arch discrepancy is predicted in the mandible when the patient achieves full permanent dentition?

correct answer is mild crowding

Larger condensers and laterally applied condensation forces are
>recommended to ensure complete
>condensation of which of the following amalgam types?
>a. admixed
>b. spherical
>c. lathe-cut
>d. high-copper
>e. conventional

Simple the space available is 63
Space required would be 22.0 from mand incisors plus 22.6 (which is the width of perm canines and PM on each side you get that from a table usually on the 75 percentile taking as parameter the mandibular incisors always!)
so
Space required = 22.0 + 22.6 x 2 (for both sides) = 67.2
The difference Space Avail - Space Required is = - 4.2 (WHICH RESULTS IN MILD CROWDING)👍

PLEASE KEEP COMING THE QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? WHEN ARE YOU TAKING THE EXAM??????

Answer is spherical which amalgam will give better proximal contour is ADMIXED and LATHE AND CONVENTIONAL AMALGAM IS THE SAME 👍

In some old exams it shows S/S what does that mean????😕
