NBDE I- How long does it take you get through each card in the decks?

Hey-- I'm just wondering, how long is it taking you guys to get through the decks. I'm using the new 2009-2010 decks and it feels like it's taking forever. Like literally, I feel like I can only get like 10 done in an hour if I do them thoroughly. At this rate it would take me 2 weeks of 8 hours per day to get though them. Any experiences you guys can share?

That was my rate. Went through them twice.

I do 30 per day. I separate them into 3 piles: YES, NO and REPEAT.
YES - I dont ever look at them again (easy, obvious ones)
NO - I dont even know what they are talking about. Must research (wiki, google, books, study partner....)
REPEAT - I should know this, but I failed to answer correctly. Even after getting it right the second or third time, I still keep them in the REPEAT pile to refresh my memory.

What works for me might be absurd to you.

Hey i wanted to ask, i will be takibng exam in feb 2011 fundamental knwldge exam in canada,.. do i only study from the latest dental decks or shud i try getting hold of the old ones too? only the latest ones are avvailable on their site. how come??
