Got 90 in Part1, 3.2 GPA, and 102 Toefl.

Comp SCore: 90

Anatomy: 87(64.6)
BiChem/ Physio: 77(60.4)
MicroBio/Path:81(65)
Dental Anatomy: 84(73.4)

Where could I get in. Experts please advise.

So, when you report your score of 87... does that mean you only missed 13Q on the anatomy section or is that you standardized score (that they calculated from your raw score)? When you took the old exams as practice were you only missing between 15-20 per section? Or did you do better or worse on the real exam?

Thanks... my test is in a few weeks and I just need to know where I am at!

I did not like Crack the NBDE, but my score was 7 points higher than my highest CTNBDE score. Old exam scores were closer IIRC.

so if you're hitting over 75 on all 4 sections of ctnbde you should be able to pass the boards right? i like the old boards but it gives you a raw score and that doesn't mean much without being curved up to a boards score right? i'm not using it to study but i want to gauge how my studying is going. should i just take old boards till i'm hitting over 75 w/ a raw score? i am going cover to cover w/ first aid nbde + decks + old boards. 3.5 weeks to go till gameday!

Yeah..for those of you who have taken the exam... what were you rocking (raw score/section) on the old released exams (on average) compared to your comp standard score on the real exam?? I think that may help some of us getting ready to take the exam gauge where we are at a little bit. Thanks!!!

There r certain questions on occlusion which ask bout stuff like laterotrusive and mediotrusive movements. Can I know the source from which these qs cn b solved, as in any books or specific notes etc. Also how would u rate Okeson for the TMJ.

Hi ddsaspi,okeson is a real good book to go thru as for the laterotrusive etc movements.Go thru the 1st 6 chapters of the book.TMJ is best described in this book as far as i have known.

I just got my PI score which is 84 I have the same score since 2007 ,although I increased the raw score for about 12 numbers ,My raw score was 285 in 2007 and now is 297 (june first).I really lost the hope.
I also have PII in2008,is there any body can quide me what should I do?

Yes it does have teslet type of questions. i am finding it ok. i am using it as it helps me sit through the test without getting tired. i find it hard to sit for that long a period without getting exhausted so this is helping me by simulating that.. as for the qusetions I guess its just about ok..

Hey no its all mixed..tho u could take it in 2 sections.. 200 questions at a time but since its a mock exam its just like the final one..randomised questions

And I also had completed part-2 and got 83.🙂

I used Kaplan NBDE lecture notes, dental decks and ASDA exams. studied for 6 weeks, 8-10 hours/day...so I think u still have time...dont worry u can do it!

I am sure it doesnt work like this (87 correct if raw score is 87 in particular subject) but dont know how the scores work. Can some one, who are aware of this type of grading, put light on this.

On CTNBDE I was scoring 89-90
On released exams, using the old scoring criteria I was getting 97-99
