Hi everyone. I'm a nebraska resident, I was wondering if schools in the surrounding states have better odds of taking Nebraska residents, even if I am considered out of state?

Probably not unless you have strong ties to the state. You'd maybe have better odds at Creighton even though it's private. UNMC would definitely be your best chance of acceptance.

Did you stay in Nebraska?
Nope, went to Tulane. Straight up bombed my UNMC interview, only school I would have picked over Tulane. Do mock interviews people.

Congrats.
I've always wondered how Tulane picks their interviewees.
They interview relatively few for the size of their class...
