I called Gigi a minute ago, UNMC is still in the 2nd Quartile.

Just to get a few things strait, UNMC has a minimal turnover time, they are currently in the 2q, and will remain there until someone drops out from their accepted list. When, UNMC receives a letter from someone asking to withdraw from the class, UNMC does not wait until 3,4,5,6,7 or more of those letters come in. They send the acceptance letters out immediately after they get a withdrawal letter. (They dont wait a few days, it all goes fast - if there is movement)
So, since UNMC is at the 2q, they will remain there until someone drops out, and nobody has the past two weeks. As I have said before UNMC will not move much more, historically speaking the big movements have stopped at MOST schools, JULY and August movement has always been minimal or nonexistent.

thanks subscap!! We appreciated the updates! Are you on waitlists at CU and UNMC? Any other places? At this point in the game, how optimistic are you on your chances? I am beginning to form a back-up plan and am just curious to what others in my situation are doing. Thanks again!!

Nothing at either school, UNMC still in the 2q, CU couldn't get to much info. A backup plan - The same crap I do now..........
However, a few of my friends waitlist have started to move like UCLA, MCV, OU, USC- hopefully the movement reaches the state of Ne.

For real, the chances are VERY very slim, I really dont want to start reapplying yet...........This aint cool.

I just dropped off creightons waitlist...I got a call from Indiana Univ and since it was the same tuition as creighton I took the offer.
One less person on the waitlist...but it sucks that creighton did not work out.
Goodluck yall and never give up ...that call may be on its way!

I just got an interview request from IU and I noticed that you have already gone through this process and was wondering if you can enlighten me a bit. Could you please tell me the types of questions they ask in the interview and what they are looking for. Also, if you don't mind, what were your mcat scores and gpa? If you could please answer this I would really appreciate it. THANKS
