Hi!
I'm looking for MSW programs in NYC. I have no idea where I should be gearing towards. I'm interested in the clinical area of social work. I want to be a therapist that applies CBT/DBT/psychotherapy.
I don't know where I should apply. I'm looking into Rutgers (in NJ), NYU, Yeshiva, Fordham. I'm just a bit concerned because I have read that some programs offer better CBT training and NYU doesn't and instead offers a more individualized approach, etc. I want to focus more on CBT/DBT/psychotherpay, but I don't know if what I'm reading about the different approaches each school offers will make a difference.
Would you know which school offers a CBT/DBT approach? And, if schools do make a difference in the training methods?
