neurologists and work hours?

Hi,
Just got as quick question here....how many hours do neurologists usually work on a weekly basis?

It totally depends on the neurologist. Some I know work 3 days a week others never see their families. Priorities determine work hours.

Are the hours worked by neurologists during residency generally less than other residencies?

Of course, it depends on the program but I have heard that they do work relatively less than some other residencies. It depends on the program though.

I heard that a hospital usually hires very few neurologists because they are very expensive. So this leaves a lot of pressure on them and so they have to work for long hours...Is this true?
