Night coverage

Just trying to get a sense of what's the norm
My current nhp job doesn't require night coverage, but I cover 3 hospitals during the day

There is no norm, really. That’s what I was saying. I’ve worked in jobs where there’s a rotating night float, others where you’re covering 24 hours, and others still where there’s telestroke. There’s no standard.

I cover 24/7 when I'm on including doing telestroke from home and coming in for thrombectomies if necessary.

Cover nights for non-stroke calls. Telestroke at a nearby academic center covers Stroke Alerts week nights 5 PM to 8 AM and weekends. I cover stroke call weekdays but do get calls at night from the ER.
