you think that's bad? I don't get mail on Saturdays at my school. Tomorrow I am lucky enough to be on Spring Break, and I'm going home to FL, but the whole time I have to worry about not checking my mail until next MONDAY 2/25. this sux so much. I think I'm going to beg some one to check my mailbox for me.

I'm not even going to get to enjoy my spring break! 🙁 😡 🙁 Too many papers to write!!!
Oh well, my vacation starts May 3rd @ 6:00 pm. Graduation, baby!!! 😀
Oh, and no more letters for me (except the rejections). The only school I'm waiting for makes phone calls. :wink:

Just think of all of the unfortunate people on the quarter system (ME!) who don't have a break during their quarter and have to graduate over a month after you!! Pity us... 🙁

I wouldn't like the quarter system. I usually only have about 4 exams a semester. The quarter system doesn't allow one any room for mishaps. Do you only have 2 exams per quarter?!? What kind of crap is that!?! I would imagine that HW is heavily factored into one's grade in a quarter system.

I am also on the quarter syetem. Spring break seems a long time off right now (3/22). SwampMan, many of my classes have 2 exams plus a final; with no homework points. This definetly leaves no room for error.

My science courses normally have 3 midterms and a final - so we have an exam every 2-3 weeks - which is beyond horrible... I love the social science classes I'm in (criminal justice/sociology) in which there are normally one midterm and one final - with some professors substituting a paper for the midterm or final. What's worse about the science classes on the quarter system are 5 hours of lab a week, 3-4 hours of lecture (4 or 5 units/class) with quizzes in lab that at times overlap with the midterm exams... ugh.
The quarter system is difficult to get used to, but since my school is a 4-quarter school, by going to school for one summer, I'll be graduating with my BS in 3 years. Congrats on getting accepted to med school and I hope you enjoy the quarter system!!

Oh, and Swampman, I've never had a class in which homework counted for anything - including lower division general ed classes. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
