Non-science majors

Are there any non-science majors on this board currently attending or hoping to attend pharmacy school? It seems as though everybody I talk to is either a bio, biochem, molecular biology, etc. undergrad, and I feel like an oddball being a business major....

You're not alone. I was a psychology major.

I was a business major, with concentration in Info. Systems. I graduated in 2002, now I'm pre-pharm. It's like starting college all over again, but in the long run will be worth it. So in short, you're not an oddball. But if you are, then so am I!

There are a good number of people in my class whose undergrad degree was not science-related

I'm currently in optometry school, and I was a geography/cartography major. 😀

You're definately not alone- I was a teacher for four years before making the decision to go back to school. I have several friends who are also applying to pharm school who are not science majors. I think it is good to have a well rounded background.
