I think this is why its so hard to jump into these games as a noob. People will tell you 'this is how this works' and then its 'well except the mods decided to change this for variation.' This is why I wanted to play the noob game, so I could work on wolf hunting skills without weird secret mechanics that change or chaos and neutral roles making things difficult to understand.

I think every noob game has had chaos role(s) actually. Those games aren't usually SUPER simple; they usually actually try to introduce most mechanics that you'll see in everyday games with you having a mentor on hand to explain things.

If we had one in WW 101 I don't remember it. There probably won't be one this game. I'm leaning more towards that style of noob game since the initial request was for a more basic game.
