Weirdo visual processing. The lateral geniculate nucleus isn't as organized in albino animals (including people) and siamese cats. I'm pretty sure we had to learn the term "lateral geniculate nucleus" in our neuroanatomy section, but I don't know if they cover it everywhere because it really doesn't have much clinical relevance for practice. I can make myself sound smart to a difficult owner, that's about it. If a pet is having an issue where I'd actually need to discuss neuroanatomy, I'm referring them to a neurologist.

I am definitely impressed
