Hi,

I received an email last week from NSU saying that this past Monday's interviews had been canceled but that interviews scheduled for 10/28 were still on as scheduled.

I have not been able to reach anyone at the school today by phone.

I checked the nova.edu website and it has the
following posted under the hurricane alert:
NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY WILL REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL
MONDAY MORNING (OCTOBER 31).

I assume that this means the medical center is also
closed and our interviews are postponed? I need to find out quickly whether or not to cancel my travel plans.

hey, rich
when are you leaving? the last i heard the airport was closed through today, and who knows about tomorrow. i'm guessing even if they reopen lots of flights will be canceled. based on that and on the school being closed for the whole week, i'm guessing friday is going to be a no-go. 🙁

It sounds like the phone lines are down at my hotel. I can't get through to anyone down there. I am scheduled to leave tomorrow morning but I think I am going to go ahead and cancel. 🙁

thats weird..i got my interview invite a lot earlier than yours (on 9/20)..and they scheduled it a lot later than yours 11/18..i wonder what this means..hopefully..just to get the interviewers past the hurricane season...

anyone know what the status is on NSU and the area hotels? I have moday, but am flying in on sunday. From what I've heard, hotels are mostly without electricity still. 31st interview is getting sketchy.,

i think this hurricane may scare away potential applicants..i guess thats good tho..better chance for me to get in! hehe
