I sent it to the group email. Should I resend?
Not sure what the group email is. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to send it to her directly.

Or maybe even call? I don’t want to be annoying but that would be a bummer if they never actually saw it.
You could call admissions and confirm if they received it. I'm sure they wouldn't consider you annoying as it shows interest in their program! 🙂

@bm5360 Just ask to confirm if it was received.
As someone who was accepted, throughout the application cycle I reached out multiple times with questions or asking for confirmation and they were always super happy to help!
I would rather make sure they received it, then think they did and they never saw it (especially since you sent it to a different email and unsure if they forwarded it to the right person or not).
So please contact them! I have found that Ernest Ingram is a good point of contact for questions like these, he is super nice, responds quickly, and always directs you to the right place. [email protected]

Thank you for the tips!! I really appreciate it. Do you think sending a email is better than calling to verify they received it?
Also, I sent it to the email that was included in my official decision letter.

Your very welcome!
I would start with sending an email since they have been pretty responsive via email (and that way you have records of the conversations to refer back to just in case). If you don't hear back via email, then you can always give them a call of course.

Do you remember the email included in the official decision letter? If it was one of the admissions staff (mine came from Jermila Claxton) then they probably forwarded it to the right person. However, I am assuming they never responded to your email after you sent it?
If so, I would definitely follow up with her again!

I just checked what I did when I sent my LOI after being placed on the waitlist. So I sent it to Melissa Cahmberlin (as they told us to do in the interview), but then I copied Jermila Claxton and Ernest Ingram (the admissions faculty) on it. Jermila Claxton then responded to confirm receipt of the email. Therefore, I would probably just ask her if it was received (especially if that is who you sent the LOI to the first time).
Even if you didn't send it to her originally, I would still suggest you still send it to her since she seems to be one of the main point of contacts (between her and Ernest Ingram).

If she tells you they did not receive it, then resend it to Melissa Chamberlin and copy Jermila Claxton on it, then ask for confirmation when you send it.
Hope this helps! If you need further clarification, let me know!

How fast did Jermila confirm receipt of your LOI? In the same day?

Yes, the same day.

The next day, but it was very early in the cycle so not sure if they are still as quick.
Waitlisted Wednesday, sent LOI and received confirmation on Thursday, accepted Friday morning.

It’ll happen for you sooner or later!!
They just may be moving a bit slower at this point in the cycle, but it will eventually happen, especially considering that last year everyone on the waitlist was eventually accepted 🙂

Thank you again for all your help and prompt responses. It means a lot and I wish you the best.

Is there anything to do after interviewing and after sending a thank you note? Interviewed on February 28 and the waiting game sucks !

Honestly, just sit and chit.
It takes about a month to hear back so just have to be patient. The admissions committee will meet and then after that they also have to meet with the dean who makes the final decisions (so it just takes some time).
If you are waitlisted, they recommend at that point, sending a letter of interest and they then move you higher up on the WL (which is what I did and it worked).
Don’t send one before you receive your decision because honestly it may not make any difference at that point in the process and then you won’t have anything to send if you are placed on the WL.
Goodluck!!

Is it better to wait to send a letter of intent until after the interview? I haven't received an interview invite yet and was thinking of sending a letter of intent.

Well if you do receive an interview invite, then it is better to send it after you interview (actually even after you receive a decision so you can use it to get pulled off the waitlist just in case you are placed on it).
However, considering it is getting pretty late in the cycle (assuming you submitted your app. this past summer) then it probably won’t hurt to send one now to see if you can possibly get an interview invite out of it.

I just had mine sent to AACOMAS and they received it just fine. The KPCOM website says just to request transcripts to be sent to AACOMAS only.
However, you can email KPCOM and they will give you a status update on where you application is at in the process!

Does anyone know how to go about transferring campuses? I was accepted to the Tampa campus but I would like to switch to the Davie campus.

Did you put Davie or Tampa as your preferred campus on the secondary application?

Any current students or anyone in general knows if those horror KPCOM stories have any truth to them? I see a lot about avoiding the school but they never go in details most of the times

I’m not a student yet, but I’m attending in the summer. I have friends enrolled and most if not all explicitly said that it’s fear mongering. Every school has its “horror stories”, so personally I think you shouldn’t base your decision on whether to attend or apply here based on others opinions as statements made online can be quite subjective. Message me if you have any other questions maybe I could help

It seems like most of the alumni and current students I talk to really enjoyed their experience.
Obviously, all schools have their issues (some more talked about than others), but I think those horror stories seem to be from a select few students who did not do very well in the school or were not willing to just follow the rules and be a good student (especially considering that msot of the complaints seem to be against the admins.) I don't think these stories are the case for the typical KPCOM student.
Also, considering that most of them do not actually state the issues, I think most of these online KPCOM gossip stories are mostly just gossip.
A few people who were upset with KPCOM posted their dislike of the school online and everyone else just took it and ran with it (all they here is it has a bad reputation based on these posts and they echo it causing others to believe KPCOM has a bad reputation and should be avoided, etc.)
Literally everyone I talked to who are current students really enjoy their experience and have even said that the admin and school are pretty supportive! I will be starting with July and I am super excited, the pros they offer definitely seem to outweigh any "supposed" cons.
I think if you can follow their reasonable rules, do your best with regards to studying and classes, use the resource the school provides for board prep, and make sure to put sufficient time and effort into your individual board prep (since board prep at the end of the day is on you, the student) I think you will have a wonderful experience at KPCOM without any issues. Hope this helps!

Yeah of course!
They really don’t seem to be of a huge concern so I think we will be alright.
See you in July!
