Do yal get emailed interview invites?
Really curious to know this as wellDoes anyone know if the Davie campus is full yet? Or still accepting students?
Like other than FAFSA? That’s all I’ve done so farHow are you guys applying for student loans? I’m not sure where to begin with that process
For those with an A, how long after the email did you receive something in the mail?
Congrats !! You interviewed on 2/13?OOS A yesterday!!
II 2/13
yes!!Congrats !! You interviewed on 2/13?
Current MS4 at TBR, open to answer questions if anyone has them
I like the program as a whole, every program has issues but I would choose it again. My favorite things about it were the location and the fact that 95% of classes were non-mandatory and uploaded online so you could teach yourself at your own pace. As someone not from Florida I would choose the TBR again due to things like lower traffic in Tampa, newer facilities, cheaper rent, etc. Research is better in Davie, I can't say how much better as I didn't attend but it's older and more established. That being said, there's a mandatory research class M2 year on both campuses everyone takes that most people get a pub with. I would not say research is "readily available" at TBR and you would definitely have to go out of your way for it as there is little research and obviously everyone wants it. With that being said, I was able to find a few doctors willing to help and pushed out multiple posters during my first two years. How do you like the program as a whole and how do you like the Tampa campus?
I heard that the FTL campus has more research opportunities, but do you feel that research is still readily available at the TBR campus?

Make sure you know why D.O. and why NSU!II in person on 3/18/25. Any tips about the interview or what questions they are going to ask?
Any insight about if the class is full or waitlist and waitlist movement?

I would look at the info. regarding required materials here: Newly Accepted StudentsDoes anyone know what the suggested ($16,146.00) for books and supplies is for? That seems like a huge number for it so if anyone has any info that would be appreciatwd
Yep! That is what they told us during our interview session. That doesn't mean that everyone will be accepted off the waitlist this year, but it does mean that they have a pretty big waitlist movement and that the chances are high. The way they explained it is that they don't really tend to interview more than number of seats available and if you received an interview invite they are serious about having in the class. The interview is just a way to get to know you better basically.I heard last year almost everyone got off the waitlist. Is that true?
I'm interviewing next tuesday and I want to go to this school
Yes I believe but double check your acceptance letter Cz it could be different for each personIs the deposit fee due today? march 15th at 11:59?
Apparently they overestimate these numbers for precaution.Does anyone know what the suggested ($16,146.00) for books and supplies is for? That seems like a huge number for it so if anyone has any info that would be appreciatwd
when did you interview ?IS WL March 8th
IS A March 13th
02/06/25 @apatel12221when did you interview ?
Yes LOIs and update letters help. 02/06/25 @bm5360Did u send a LOI? Also when did u interview?
hopefully it means I have a good shot at a WL or A when i interview on tuesday. Seems like there is movement
Do you know if any of the campuses are full yetIS WL March 8th
IS A March 13th
Only one! But definitely I'd recommend trying to stay in communication if this is your number one school. @bm5360How many letters did u send?
Unfortunately I don't but if you receive an interview you're more than likely to get in, they hardly reject from what I've seen. They even stated that they don't over interview. @medstudentplsDo you know if any of the campuses are full yet
No problem, ask away! I believe their waitlist is ranked (don't quote me on this), so you might have a lower position on the waitlist.Sorry for all the questions lol but I also was waitlisted on 03/08 (although the letter on the website was dated 03/05) and sent a LOI a few days after as it’s my top choice but still haven’t heard back. :/
They said to send it to Melissa Chamberlain, [email protected].Which email did u send ur letter to?

Not sure what the group email is. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to send it to her directly.I sent it to the group email. Should I resend?
You could call admissions and confirm if they received it. I'm sure they wouldn't consider you annoying as it shows interest in their program! 🙂Or maybe even call? I don’t want to be annoying but that would be a bummer if they never actually saw it.
Your very welcome!Thank you for the tips!! I really appreciate it. Do you think sending a email is better than calling to verify they received it?
Also, I sent it to the email that was included in my official decision letter.
Okay!! You’re awesome foreal.Your very welcome!
I would start with sending an email since they have been pretty responsive via email (and that way you have records of the conversations to refer back to just in case). If you don't hear back via email, then you can always give them a call of course.
Do you remember the email included in the official decision letter? If it was one of the admissions staff (mine came from Jermila Claxton) then they probably forwarded it to the right person. However, I am assuming they never responded to your email after you sent it?
If so, I would definitely follow up with her again!
I just checked what I did when I sent my LOI after being placed on the waitlist. So I sent it to Melissa Cahmberlin (as they told us to do in the interview), but then I copied Jermila Claxton and Ernest Ingram (the admissions faculty) on it. Jermila Claxton then responded to confirm receipt of the email. Therefore, I would probably just ask her if it was received (especially if that is who you sent the LOI to the first time).
Even if you didn't send it to her originally, I would still suggest you still send it to her since she seems to be one of the main point of contacts (between her and Ernest Ingram).
If she tells you they did not receive it, then resend it to Melissa Chamberlin and copy Jermila Claxton on it, then ask for confirmation when you send it.
Hope this helps! If you need further clarification, let me know!
Here is her email: [email protected]
Goodluck!!Okay!! You’re awesome foreal.
I just sent an email, so I’ll provide an update on what happens. 🙂
How fast did Jermila confirm receipt of your LOI? In the same day?
