Merry X'mas to all.
I was wondering if any one has heard from NYCOM. I interviewed there on November 18th, and still haven't heard from them.

I interviewed on the same day... still nothing.. nada.. zippo.. its gettings fustrating... 3 weeks my asss.... more like approaching 2 months...

You may even hear a little bit sooner (perhaps this coming week?) I interviewed there on Dec. 16 and they told us that they were working on their first batch of letters.

I was invited to interview last year without all of my rec letters in...not sure if things are different this year though. Just get em' in so you don't have to worry. As far as acceptance/rejection letters go, I know that the students have a break from December 24th until January 4th, not sure if the adcom and admin staff is off as well. Thats why I figured second week in Jan. Good luck all. 👍

General question to you NYCOMers...did they send your acceptance letter to the "preferred mailing address" you listed on your secondary application, or to a different mailing address? I'm worried that my letter (acceptance, rejection, whatever) will end up in my college mailbox (where my secondary application was sent), but I'm home for winter break. Eeek! Perhaps I'll give the office a call.

I interviewed on 12/16. Anyone from that day heard yet?

sfrdude interviewd on 12/16 and he heard yesterday. I interviewd on 11/18 and heard yesterday also. Looks like for all those who interviewed up until 12/16ish, letters went out last week. Mine is post marked on 12/23/2004. I have tried calling them about a question but the admissions office is closed for the holidays (I assume, since 516-686-3747, #5 just rings and rings).

My letter came to my home address, didn't have any other address listed with them. I am sure some one else can take that question.

Due to adverse climate in mid-west, give snail-mail a day or two extra, before getting worried.

bummer...my guess is that they typed up and sent out the "acceptance letters" first...then comes the dreaded waitlist and rejection letters...i interviewed on the 1st and no mail....like I said...bummer... 🙁

Hi All. Anyone who interviewed on 12/15 get a letter yet? If it's not an acceptance would u still get a letter at the same time?

Oh man you guys, that's awesome, NYCOMers

Question about your guys GPA/MCAT scores...how were they? NYCOM, PCOM, UMDNJ, and VCOM are my top COM choices

Don't worry guys NYCOM does not send out all the acceptances first and rejections later. My friend and I interviewed 1 week apart last year and I got my acceptance 2.5 months prior to his so I don't know the exact system but don't assume because you haven't heard you're rejected/waitlisted.

ok...so far two people from the December 1st interview group have not heard...anyone else?...there were ten of us I think!

Congrats to all those accepted! I recieved an invite letter from NYCOM mid December, and their office has not been open since to schedule an interview!! I just tried a few times today too, but no answer. Anyone know if/when the office is open? Thanks!
