What do those waitlisted think are the chances of getting off?
Yes, I sent them through email. I didn't see them uploaded onto the portal though -- I think the portal uploads are for documents (like transcripts, certifications)Congrats on your acceptance! Did you send the update letters through email? If so, were you able to see these update letters on your portal under the uploaded materials?
yesBefore sending the letter of interest, were you waitlisted beforehand?
Were you waitlisted originally, or interview?Anyone else got a rejection letter today? I have a quick question on their portal.
neither. Were you waitlisted originally, or interview?
Yes.were you waitlisted and got a call?
have you reached out to them recently or has it been a while since you've talked to them?Just received a call from them asking if I was still interested, to which I said yes. Not sure if this means anything more...Anyone else get a call?
For me it's been a few weeks since I contacted them.have you reached out to them recently or has it been a while since you've talked to them?

What are your stats?Does anyone who got accepted know what time the deposit is due on the due date? Also, do we still have the option of splitting our deposit into the 1500 and 3000?
Called them last week and they told me that they stopped interviewing at the end of March.Any more interview invites this month? Have any re-applicants been accepted this year?
Do people apply for the scholarship, or is this a scholarship nyu just gives out? From what I know, it can go up to $25k per year but haven’t heard of any amount that’s higher. Typically only about 10% of the incoming class gets some sort of scholarship so it’s pretty competitive.
These scholarships are given at the time of acceptance. I don't think you can apply for them since they're merit based.Do people apply for the scholarship, or is this a scholarship nyu just gives out?

You dodged a bullet by going to UConn. NYU is a total mess right nowI told them in the call that I have already committed to a school (UConn). I was waitlisted on February 1st.
in what regards?NYU is a total mess right now
I sent them 2 letters of intent. An email of my continued interest. Did you get a waitlist update form too? is this something everyone on the waitlist get?For those of you who got continued interest email, did you email them with updates or called them frequently?
Do I even have to tell you the obvious answer to that question?.... If you say yes, it means they would no longer consider you. They want people who are A) going to pay the 5000 deposit and B) be able to relocate without any issueI just received a waitlist update email, asking if I was still interested. One of the questions asks "Would you experience any logistical difficulty in attending NYU?" Why are they asking this? If I answer Yes, I would experience hardship trying to relocate or pay the $5,000, would they not continue to consider my application anymore?
I did and it was more like richard anchundia telling us what they want and us asking a few questions regarding the waitlist proceduresFor those of you who were on the waitlist and got accepted, did you do a virtual meeting with them? And if so what did you talk about?
The curriculum is a disaster. Since they’re changing things around because of the INBDE, everyone is failing. My friend there just took a midterm where half the class failed with a C average. They don’t know what to do anymore.in what regards?
