Now that it's getting close to Thanksgiving, we're running a contest to hear advice you've received that you're most thankful for! This can be any type of advice and the advice with the most reactions will win!
I have heard horror stories about the clinical experience at nyu and how it’s hard to get individualized instruction due to the vast amount of students. Also there’s times a chair may not be available so you are literally in competition for chairs/patients. But at the end of the day you’ll get ample experience and do a lot just by virtue of having a large patient pool. Also the price tag and COL in Manhattan is ridiculous.
Roseman is a newer program and is definitely more laid back as you know. NYU’s clinical experience is wayyy better though. But 200-300k better for the same degree? No way. I’d pick Roseman
